Eye Tracker Print-Attack Database (ETPAD) v2

ETPAD v2 database is composed of 1200 eye movement recordings and 400 iris images collected from 200 unique individuals.

Database: The database consists of one dataset of iris images and three datasets of eye movements. Dataset IRIS IMAGES contains 400 iris images from 200 unique individuals. For every individual, 2 iris images were captured from the left eye.

Dataset LIVE EYE MOVEMENTS contains 400 eye movement recordings from the same 200 individuals employed in dataset IRIS IMAGES. For every individual, 2 eye movement recordings were recorded from the left eye. The stimulus was a fixation point and each recording lasted 15 seconds.

Dataset SAS_I EYE MOVEMENTS contains 400 eye movement recordings captured during the performance of print-attack of type SAS I, i.e., attack is performed both during calibration stage and during the stimulus presentation stage. The print-attacks were performed with the use of the iris images from the same 200 individuals employed in dataset IRIS IMAGES. During the print-attacks the left eye of the attacker was captured. The stimulus was a fixation point and each recording lasted 15 seconds.

Dataset SAS_II EYE MOVEMENTS contains 400 eye movement recordings captured during the performance of print-attacks of type SAS II, i.e., attack is performed only during stimulus presentation stage. The print-attacks were performed with the use of the iris images from the same 200 individuals employed in dataset IRIS IMAGES. During the print-attacks the left eye of the attacker was captured. The stimulus was a fixation point and each recording lasted 15 seconds.

Equipment: All eye movements were recorded by an Eye Link 1000 eye tracker at the sampling rate of 1000Hz. Chin rest was employed to stabilize subjects' heads during the recording. All iris images were captured by a CMTech BTM-20 Iris Recognition System at a resolution 640x480 pixels. Equipment setup and an outline of a an attack can be viewed in the following video.
