I am an assistant professor at the Computer Science Department of Texas State University-San Marcos.

I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Auburn University in August, 2008. I received my B.S.(2002) and M.S.(2005) in Computer Science from Shandong University, China.

My research is currenly focusing on High Performance Computing, Energy-Efficient Computing, Distributed Storage Systems, Multicore Technology, Parallel Programming and Computation-Intensive Applications.

Welcome to my webpage and my curriculum vitae can be downloaded here.

Research Opportunities for Students

We are looking for self-motivated graduate and undergraduate students to be involved in projects related to parallel computing, distributed storage systems, and data mining. Support will be available for highly qualified students. Please contact me for more details if you are interested.
