Course Description:Intensive review of programming through data structures. Includes syntax, semantics, problem solving, algorithm development, and in-class exercises. May be repeated once. Does not count for credit toward any graduate degree.

|Students will be able to recognize and use common programming idioms.|
|Students will be able to develop algorithmic solutions to word problems.|
|Students will be able to transform high-level algorithms into code using appropriate data structures.|
