CS 5305 - Foundations of Operating Systems

Course Description:

This foundation course is for CS master's students who need CS 4328 fundamental concept reinforcement. It covers the principles of operating systems, algorithms for CPU scheduling, memory management, cooperating sequential processes and device management. It may be repeated once. This course does not earn graduate degree credit.
