Physics Week

Are you interested in learning more about what research is happening in the Department of Physics? Do you want to get started on your own research journey? Then join us for Physics Week!

Physics Week is a three-day event starting at the end of this month.

Each day will highlight one of the three areas of research that the Department of Physics conducts: astrophysics/space sciences, physics education research, and material physics. On each day, physics research labs will be open for anyone to stop by and see firsthand what research looks like in these fields. You will have the opportunity to meet the professors in charge of these labs and the student researchers who work under them. Moderated panel sessions with professors will also be hosted each day of Physics Week giving you another opportunity to learn more about the life of a researcher and the pathway to become one.

Please see the attached schedule for more information on Physics Week or contact our Outreach Coordinator, Ms. Erika Marentes, at e_m474@txstate.edu. We hope to see you all there!

Deadline: Nov. 22, 2023, midnight
