Customer Success Interns:
Alegion’s AI Enablement Platform is a robust technology system that supports a wide array of data processes designed specifically for AI, ML, NLP, Computer Vision and Deep Learning systems. It provides the ability to define and configure complex data task workflows including
multi-step and conditional paths for text, photo, video and audio. It also manages the distribution of tasks to human data specialists based on required skillets and other criteria and has built-in quality control processes that provide exceptional data quality, predictable pricing
and scale to process large volumes of data-intensive tasks.

An intern in the Customer Success area at Alegion focuses on customer engagement, data preparation, and quality assurance for human judgement results. This position will provide experience working at the ground floor, foundational data preparation level for building artificial intelligence applications.

Position Details:
-15 to 20 hours per week (up to full-time in summer)
-On-site work in Austin, TX (501 Pedernales St. 78702)
-Pay rate based on experience

Qualifications:
-High aptitude and understanding of technology
-Data manipulation experience (Excel, python, etc.)
-High degree of interest in data analysis and Machine Learning data preparation
-Experience in training & online learning is a plus

Data Science Interns:
Alegion’s AI Enablement Platform is a robust technology system that supports a wide array of data processes designed specifically for AI, machine learning, NLP, and Computer Vision systems. It provides the ability to define and configure complex data task workflows including
multi-step and conditional paths for text, photo, video and audio. It also manages the distribution of tasks to human data specialists based on required skills and other criteria and has built-in quality control processes that provide exceptional data quality, predictable pricing and scale to
process large volumes of data-intensive tasks.


An intern in the Data Science area at Alegion focuses on analysis of customer and internal platform data and building machine learning models. These models can be used, for example, to augment or support human judgements about customer needs and platform performance. This position will provide experience working with real data on a variety of machine learning problems including computer vision, natural language processing, and entity resolution.


Position Details:
-15 to 20 hours per week (up to full-time in summer)
-On-site work in Austin, TX (501 Pedernales St. 78702)
-Pay rate based on experience


Qualifications
-Experience programming in Python
-Experience training machine learning models (Tensorflow, Keras, etc.)
-Familiar with data manipulation libraries (e.g., numpy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn)

Engineering (Software Development) Interns:

An intern in the Engineering area at Alegion focuses on implementing, integrating, and deploying platform functionality. Engineers at Alegion collaborate with software architects and software engineers on architectural reviews and design discussions, work closely with other Engineering team members within an Agile environment, and develop clean, well-designed, reusable, scalable code following TDD practices.

Qualifications:
-Significant experience programming in Java
-Familiar with AWS or other cloud infrastructure technologies
-Familiar with concepts of object-oriented programming, test-driven development, and
-continuous integration/continuous deployment in an agile software development environment
