AMD Research is looking for talented MS or Ph.D. students for summer internships in Santa Clara, CA or Austin, TX. The intern will be responsible for exploring programming models and software abstractions for future hardware architectures. The research could involve designing advanced software runtimes and novel memory allocation techniques. The intern will work closely with researchers to develop software enhancements for new potential accelerators and be exposed to many aspects of software stack development, memory architectures and CPU/GPU architectures. A strong candidate will have experience with parallel programming on CPUs/GPUs and knowledge of memory architectures. Previous experience with designing high-level programming models or language abstractions is a plus.
Interested and qualified students should contact Dr. Apan Qasem at email@example.com.
