Course Description:
Supervised individual research project in a mentor-student relationship with a computer science faculty member. Cannot be given degree credit until the satisfactory completion of CS 4299.Prerequisite:
Prerequisites: Minimum 3.00 Major GPA and instructor approval.
Course Objectives:

The student will conduct a literature review with the assistance of the instructor (advisor). |
2. |
The student will develop an annotated bibliography of at least 10 references. |
3. |
The student will present the results of the literature review to the advisor. |
4. |
The student will refine the research hypothesis based on the literature review with the assistance of the instructor. |
5. |
The student will conduct a simple experiment to refine the hypothesis. |
