Course Description:
This course covers the dynamic interaction of the computer system building blocks and their management. Course topics include the design of the instruction set, high speed arithmetic, memory hierarchy, and control units. Computer system performance evaluation methodology and techniques are also covered.Prerequisite:
C or higher in CS 3358 Data Structures and Algorithms.
C or higher in CS 3339 Computer Architecture.
