CS 5369J - Advanced Human Computer Interaction

Course Description:

This course will cover state of the art Human Computer Interaction topics such as perceptual compression, eye-gaze, and brain computer interfaces with emphasis on the human visual system, eye-tracking, and electroencephalography.

Prerequisite:

Course Objectives:

1.

Students will be able to understand and solve challenges that are faced by eye-gaze and brain computer interfaces.

2.

Students will acquire the basic knowledge about the Human Visual System and brain functioning and will be able to apply this knowledge in the design of eye gaze and brain computer interfaces.
