Interested in a career in Software Engineering? Not sure where to get started?

Join us this Spring semester for an in-depth workshop series on Career Prep! This series will be taught by our Meta Engineer in Residence, Laith Hasanian, who is also teaching CS 3398 (Software Engineering). A variety of topics will be covered including:

  • What is it like to be a Software Engineer?
  • What does it take to become a Software Engineer?
  • What do recruiters/hiring managers look for in applicants?
  • Resume review and improvement
  • Understanding the application process behind the scenes
  • The coding interview
  • Negotiation advice and training
  • 1:1 feedback and mentorship with regards to your skills and goals
